This happened a couple of years ago, but in light of #MeToo, it’s still relevant. You may have heard of right-wing liar, extremist, and purveyor of toxic masculinity Roosh Valizadeh. He’s a dimwitted, fascist ass clown who writes regularly for his own blog, right-wing liefest Return of Kings (a sort of Infowars wannabe), and he makes dishonest videos for his own YouTube channel.
Roosh wrote an entry a couple of years ago blaming women for contributing to their own rape by supposedly failing to take necessary precautions and control their own behavior. You can read about it here, among other web sites.
“If a woman got raped, that is a sad thing. It’s a bad thing. But whose fault is it? Is it the woman’s fault? No, I’m not saying that,” Roosh said. “But a woman can do things to reduce the likelihood that she will get hurt. If I get a BMW car right now and I leave the key inside and park it in a bad area and it gets robbed, whose fault is that? Is it the thief’s fault, or is it my fault for being a moron?”
He also said that he doesn’t think the women who say Bill Cosby raped them are being “honest.”
“The evidence I’ve seen is girls wanting to be with him and take drugs with him, and then 20 years after that say he hurt them,” he said, trailing off skeptically.
When reporters pressed him on whether he had raped a woman he said was too drunk to legally consent in one of his books, Roosh dismissed it as “macho sex writing.”
Oh, little boy, you dare call yourself a man? Silly child. Oh, but wait, his degenerate whinefest got even better:
Pressed again on whether having sex with a woman too drunk to consent met the legal definition of rape, he shot back, “How about the man?” and later deflected: “You’re trying to redefine the definition of consensual sex so that every man is on the hook for rape.”
In an age when serial rapists like Cosby, Harvey Weinstein, and Les Moonves are finally being exposed and taken down for their crimes, Roosh Valizadeh is making lame excuses for them, and when rightly called out on it, acts like the massive hypocrite he is and refuses to take personal responsibility for his own words and actions. For a boy who regularly lectures others about personal responsibility, he sure has a suspicious aversion to it himself.
Maybe if Roosh Valizadeh didn’t have his head so far up his ass, he’d get enough oxygen to his brain and stop lying for a living. But that would require enough presence of mind to recognize he has a problem with his mental processes. And he can’t recognize it because he’s too busy posting stupid shit like blaming women for being raped.
